Today while going away
The night strew limpid beads
To adorn the dayspring
Many starlets came down
Dripping lazily
From the roof of zephyr
One with many others
Lied gently on the grass bed
Denying, to wake up
Dissembled
On a blade each
They sparkled like beryl
One with many others
Fell on the kernel
Of the blonde sunflower
Hiding behind the grey pollen
They tinseled periodically
As the sun rays frolicked
And the rest clung
To the shoots of the old
Resplendent lavender tree
Whispering the love song
Through the pores
The tinsels breathe their last
Before they all will disappear
And be remembered
Only as “the Tears of Dawn”
