The lane

Many a times
I have traveled
In the lone lanes
Of the blue night

The blue night
That brings with itself
The moist moonshine
And the thick frigid air

When the damp light
Heavy with the burden
Of my tear drops
Flows down

Down
From the crevices
Of the thick air
Air, Smelling like mosses

To find a way
That would reach you
Today, Tomorrow or
Don’t know after how many lives

Each nightI am a traveller
Lost in the wanderlust
Of the dark lanes
For me

Each night
Is wrapped in
The silk strands
The silvery strands

Of the blue story
I wait!
But the moon
Doesn’t even phase out.

Nor does it find
The way for me
Up to you;
See! How far I have come!
